Skiing area, Rentals and Tickets<\/h2>\n

Skiing Area<\/strong>
\nLet\u2019s start with the most important thing for many of our visitors: the skiing. The skiing area Lech Z\u00fcrs has been connected with Warth-Schr\u00f6cken via the Auenfeldjet<\/a> (since 2013\/14) and with St. Anton and St. Christoph via the Flexenbahn<\/a> (since 2017\/18). Taken together, the Ski Arlberg area offers 94 lifts and cable cars, along with 340km of slopes open during winter season. Mountain movers have long known that Lech Z\u00fcrs is one of the world\u2019s most beautiful skiing areas. Now, it\u2019s also one of the largest and best serviced.<\/p>\n

Tickets and Rentals<\/strong>
\nThe interactive Ski Arlberg Map<\/a> keeps you up-to-date about currently open routes and slope conditions. You can also find ticket prices<\/a> here. By renting your equipment from Sportalp<\/a> or Strolz<\/a>, you can be sure to always be outfitted with the most cutting-edge technology for all your skiing pursuits.<\/p>\n

Ski Schools<\/strong>
\nWith the Lech<\/a>, Z\u00fcrs<\/a> and Oberlech<\/a> ski schools, as well as the Alpine Centre<\/a>, you can book all kinds of skiing experiences: group or private courses, for adults or for kids. Hitting the (Forest) Floor & Revelling in Nature<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s so much to explore in our great outdoor world. Deep snow pros can have an unforgettable experience heli-skiing<\/a> right in Ski Arlberg, the only place that offers it in the Austrian Alps. Trips can be booked through the Lech ski school<\/a>. Snowboarders<\/a> more than welcome!<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re not the type to head up high and race down fast but are still looking for some fun on two slats, how about some cross-country skiing<\/a>? Lech Z\u00fcrs offers 27 kilometres of well-tended slopes for every level. And for those who want to take it even slower, we recommend snowshoeing or exploring some of the extensive winter hiking trails<\/a>. Or go old-school, taking a ride through the winter wonderland in a horse-drawn carriage. No matter your choice (but why not try them all?), you\u2019ll encounter the most magnificent of landscapes. Arts and Culture<\/h2>\n

Let\u2019s move on to the many cultural events available during Lech\u2019s winter season. In the Museum Huber-Hus<\/span><\/a> you can get first-hand knowledge of life in a typical Walser farm house and experience their ever-changing exhibition program.<\/p>\n

Another very special location is the Allmeinde<\/a>. Founded by Katja and Gerold Schneider, it offers exhibitions, concerts, lectures and conferences all in one exceptional location. Lech is also home to skyspaceLech<\/a>, a \u2018lightroom\u2019 created by world-renowned artist James Turrell.<\/p>\n

Just because they\u2019re in the mountains doesn\u2019t mean some of our guests don\u2019t want to get their shop on. Apart from the well-known shops Waldhart<\/a>, Strolz<\/a> and Sagmeister<\/a>, there are some smaller boutiques like Lenai&Linai<\/a>, offering contemporary regional fashions that emphasize craftsmanship in wool and cloth, or the new room service boutique<\/a> in the hotel der Berghof offering beautifully curated accessories.<\/p>\n

Resa Wants Shop at Alpenfluh<\/h3>\n

Beginning with the Winter Season 2022\/23, lovers of our high-quality, pure organic cosmetics from Resa Wants<\/a> have been able to find and purchase them directly online. Now, in our lovely little store located in the Stammhaus<\/a>, you can see, try out, marvel, chat, and choose. Perhaps even with a cozy cup of coffee. We\u2019ve designed the experience so that visitors go home inspired inside and out. It\u2019s not for nothing that our store\u2019s motto is a \u201ca shop window for the body and soul,\u201d which you can read more about in the current issue of La Loupe.<\/a><\/p>\n

The finest mountain meadow honey, harvested by our very own Michi Wolf, is also available at Alpenfluh, along with hand-picked herbal teas from Bezau. Lech is known far and wide for its exceptionally fine culinary offerings. Here, you\u2019ll find numerous highly-regarded restaurants that are represented in countless guides and recommendation books. To help you deal with this abundance of choices, we\u2019d like to offer some suggestions for places where our family and many of our guests have had consistently enjoyable culinary experiences. For the evenings when our own kitchen is closed (Sundays and Mondays), we hope this list will prove helpful.
